Mercury reports that he has come back to Serra as the OC, having left SJB. Interesting. Provocative. Illuminating.
I agree…. If Neither MD or SJB could put up 50 on Serra, neither will Folsom….. Serra is not afraid of Folsom no matter how long the odds look for the Padres…..I have a hard time believing a Walsh coached Serra team is going to get smoked by Folsom. You look back the last 5 years and except the Open Game against SJB/MD they rarely give up more than 30 points. Even in a down year they are better than 99% of Norcal teams. They have tons of kids in 6"2-6"4 range on the line at 250+. Big pacific islander kids as strong as oxes. They will have athletes and maybe not that marquee D1 kid but I see it more more like 35-14. I think Serra limits possessions. They know Folsom well.
I will be there.
This is Block’s new MO…. He is all over the National Boards Trolling everyone as a So Cal fan and his Schtick is “So Cal is a Different Level”…. He is even Bashing Folsom and pretending he doesn’t know who they are….Folspm will lose by 50 in the Open no matter what. Until you guys understand the different level of play you just won't get it

Until you guys understand the different level of play you just won't get itFolsom's talent all around especially the newcomers (Sharma) and 2 (Jackson and Orme) from its own league is ridiculous! That's like if SF's Kingston Keanaaina and SI's Jarius Hogan and add Pitt's JuJu Walls ended up at Riordan. Crazy! The Bulldogs could represent NorCal very well in the Open.
Going to be A Game!Only 1 game sample but Rocklin seems really explosive this year on O. We know that they always pride themselves on Defense. That will be the key. Can this Rocklin D stop a big talented Manogue offense that has weapons and a great QB. It should be a good one!
Devin? Yes he did!Didn't the best SM QB transfer to Edison?
I don’t disagree with what you are saying at all, but this is HSFB, not College or NFL and 15-18 year olds can certainly go through emotional ups and downs and that DLS group had two huge punches to the gut that year….I hate the “______ weren’t into it” excuse that many fans use. We can all point to times when a team was prime for a letdown for various reasons, and yet they still won. Look, DLS won the earlier match up, and Folsom won the second game…that’s it. There are too many examples to recite where top teams rolled a team early in the season, only to lose to the same team at the end of the season. Folsom v Grant comes to front of my mind.
It happens at every level of sports. No excuses.
You left out Jason Hill Jr. who played for GB last year. Kid is an absolute baller and we’ll be hearing his name a lot the next couple years. His dad played WR in the NFL and he has lots of offers already. I believe him and Sharma are both out a few more games.Folsom's talent all around especially the newcomers (Sharma) and 2 (Jackson and Orme) from its own league is ridiculous! DLS held decisive wins over the SD Open Champ (28 pts), the SJS D1 Champ (20 pts) and the NCS D1 Champ (28 pts)…. No other Nor Cal team had a Resume anywhere near this…..
DLS rightfully expected to play in the open and when they didn’t the kids were crushed and they were never into playing in the D1AA regional….
So totally different circumstances…..
