ANOUNCING THE 69th ANNUAL GRIDLEY INVITATIONAL December 7th 8th & 9th 2023

I think we have put together another competitive Tournament.

It’s been 34 years since Clayton Valley, last made an appearance at Gridley. Here’s a sidelight: The A.D. for Clayton Valley is none other than Eric Bamberger. He was the two time MVP, and the top scorer for the tournament. Playing for Ygnacio Valley in 1986 & 87 ( 87* Year 3 point rule started. )

We welcome back Clovis North. They return with almost a full roster.

Salesian returns yet again. They have the all time record for appearances, with seventeen.

Branson brings in a loaded young roster. Branson has become a Gridley fan favorite.

Archbishop Reardon: Has several nice pieces coming back.

Sheldon: Returns with a young, but talented group of players.

We welcome San Ramon Valley: Another long ago team who played in 1968. They have some young pieces, and should be competitive.

And Gridley: They could be down forty, but they play like it’s a two point game. Bless their heart.

Hope to see lot’s of friends next season.

I was going down when engine trouble kept me home. First miss in almost 30 years.
I'm excited about next years Tournament.
