Burbank (13-5) avenged a loss to Grant at the Cordova Christmas Classic by beating the Pacers 72-70 on Tuesday in Metro Conference play. In its five losses, Burbank has lost by a combined 27 points.
The Titans have four players averaging double figures in senior Kyrie Dunn, junior Tyree Gill, senior Leon Davis and sophomore Omari Nesbit.
The Metro Conference has a solid top three of Burbank, Grant (12-4) and Monterey Trail (11-5). The Titans play Monterey Trail on January 15 and February 7. They get a third regular season meeting with the Pacers on January 31.
