My Cougs face Acalanes for a piece of the league title.

JV Cougs won a defensive battle, 8-6.

This finishes off an undefeated season for the JV Cougs.

Cougs take the return to the 45, roll right down the field, but they lose it on down on the Aca 16.

Two plays later, big Campo hit causes a fumble Cougs recover!

Now it’s 3rd and 5, Cougs ball on the 15.

Pass to the back corner of the end zone CAUGHT for a Cougs TD! Kick is good, 7-0.

5:28 in the 1st.

Short kick, Aca ball on their 38.

Dons go right down the field in 3 plays to tie it at 7.

3 and out for the Cougs, punt returned to the house.

Acalanes kick is good, they lead 14-7. Still 2:18 left in the 1st.

Cougs start on their 22, their drive stalls on the Aca 30. FG try is quite a powerful boot, good with space to spare.

14-10 Aca, 10:16 left in the half.

Campo takes over on downs at their 28 after a strong stand.

Cougs stopped on downs and ACA now has it to the Cougs 47.

And now to the 28, 17 seconds left in the half.

Now to the 21, 13 seconds…

Pass into the end zone misses, 8 seconds left.

Next one batted down, 3.5 seconds left.

4th down…

FG try. 40-yarder, no problem. 17-10 Acalanes at the half.

Aca gets ball to start, but a few plays in, Aca blows the handoff and the Cougs recover at the Aca 40.

Cougs now with a 4th and 4…. Pass batted down, Aca has it at their 34.

4th down, horrible snap, kicker chases it down, throws incomplete pass…. and somehow they call a roughing passer penalty…. Aca scores next play on a bomb. wtf??

Wow!!!…. Absolutely Shocked!!!…. HSFB is the best, I thought there was no way Campo Beats Acalanes!!!…. What a great win for the Campo Kids!!!….
