How did the game flow? Is the final a good indication of the competitiveness? Carondelet has really come together under Elgin Leslie.

Hughes hit three threes in the first 90 seconds and Carondelet had a nice lead they would not relinquish. They were up 16 at the half. As Elgin generously substituted, I believe MV cut the lead to nine in the third quarter. MV never let up and their coach kept them in the game with motivation and strategy.

Katie Rathbun had a solid performance with seven first half points and eight in the second half for a total of 15.
