Rocklin turned two Manteca second half interceptions into touchdowns as a 7-7 tie at the half turned into a 30-7 win. The Thunder are now headed back to the SJS Division II title game where they will take on Grant.
Despite being tied at the half, Rocklin dominated this semi-final behind a strong defensive effort especially agianst the run. The Thunder won the line of scrimamge and let their linebackers flow to the ball.
Junior quarterback Reeve Slone missed some deep throws early the game, but settled in with three touchdown passes to senior Mavrik Collins. Two of three were deep throws with the final score coming on a slant.
