Inderkum beat Oakland Tech 85-59

CIF Norcal Open should have 6 teams this year

1) Riordan (Bye)
2) St Joseph’s (Bye)
3) Lincoln (Stockton) vs. 6) Salesian
4) Inderkum vs. 5) Clovis North

DLS, Folsom, SI front runners for D1

Well we have to see how the SJS d1 playoffs go. MC is probably the slight favorite at this point and just beat Lincoln.

Open - Canidates.

MC, Folsom, Lincoln, Inderkum are all possible and good enough to compete with anyone.

BUT its the SJS and you still have Monterey Trail (win vs Folsom) lurking in the Playoffs not mention Vanden and Sheldon.

Sad but only 4 of these teams will get in the State playoffs. plus 1/2 at large depending on who they take for the OPEN.

I def see an SJS team in the Open. Looking like MC at this point if I was a betting man.
Folsom has a good shot at a deep D1 run.

Not confirmed yet but seems to make the most sense
How does 330 miles to sacramento vs 130 to say sierra canyon last year make sense . Or how does all the teams from north making 5 hr + to Santa Maria make sense

You guys remember when Clovis West represented the south in the D1 boys champ game? (before the open... this was the big boy game) How the hell did that ever make sense.

I think Open will be Riordan, two NCS Open finalists, two SJS D1 finalists and St Joseph.

Taking about evening out brackets in terms of competitiveness. Stick around for March and you will see a lot of matchups that don’t make geographic sense.
