Lincoln SF & Fall River State's only Unbeatens

Lincoln SF (13-0) and Fall River (12-0) were the only unbeaten's in the state this year. Lincoln won the state 6A bowl title, while Fall River was the Northern Section D5 winner and choose to skip the regional bowl.

There were 6 undefeated 8-man teams in Mission Prep (San Luis Obispo)(12-0), Los Molinos (12-0), Mojave (11-0), Bloomington Christian (10-0), Cornerstone Christian (Antioch)(9-0) & Stuart Hall (San Francisco)(8-0).

Folson has the state's longest win streak at 14.

Why did Fall River skip bowl, fires?

I would guess that Fall River skipped the Bowl games because of travel concerns and the fact that most of the small schools have basketball players on the football team and cant afford to miss the beginning of the season for something that just costs the school too much money. It has nothing to do with the fires.
