Sounds like the CIF placed them in the wrong division this year, so much for competitive equity.

It isn't the fault of the programs, but this is my issue with competitive equity and so many divisions. Did Mack and Milpitas for example win state titles because they are that good or that they were in the right divisions?

Definitely not Mack's fault. Congrats to them, they just won the games they were given. But a running clock is not competitive. Mack is good, but could have won a state title in a higher division, so they take away a state title from a team that could have won at this level.

Mack and Milpitas are not in the wrong division.The problem is the way the south has their SBG system set up.They only care about getting their best team to open which waters down every other division.The North should be favored every year in every division but the Open because they send their very best,not so with the south
