The Philadelphia Phillies took Jake Scheiner in the fourth round. He was originally from Carrillo/Santa Rosa JC before heading to Houston.

Drew Strotman (Homestead/St. Mary's) was taken by the Tampa Bay Rays in Round 4

Matt Winaker (San Ramon Valley/Stanford) goes to the New York Mets in Round 5

Tracy RHP Cody Bolton is the first prep player from NorCal off the board to the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 6th round.

Slot for that pick is 255K

Noah Bremer (Washington/Berkeley) goes in the 6th round to the Texas Rangers

Being reported that Cody Bolton will sign with the Pirates and forgo his commitment to Michigan.

Tim Susnara (St. Francis/Oregon) goes in the 8th round to the Arizona Diamondbacks.

John Gavin (St. Francis/Cal State Fullerton) was taken by the hometown Giants in the 8th round.

He will be pitching in Omaha this week.

Nice slot for Scheiner.

Seems like if clubs knew Bolton would sign he'd have gone higher.

Gavin is an interesting case. From everything I read he was a flat-out stud coming out of St. Francis. Good but not great in college. Could be a real bargain in the end. I'm also really curious to see more of the RHP from St. Bonaventure that SFG took in the 9th.
