National JUCO Rankings

Laney's beaten City 3 times in the past 2 years and actually beat them 3 times in a 12 months span. A bit disrespectful to have City above them. I think John Beam has finally figured out the formula.

Pre-season JC rankings look nothing like the end of season rankings. The JC rankings are pretty much ignored until the middle of the season. There is so much turnover at the JCs that many don't know how good they will be until after fall camp starts.

Keep your eye on CSM! Quality program ! Played for a state title last year yeah they have lost a lot but have reloaded and have a ton of talent. That combined with that staff and the program = SUCCESS

The JC ranks are loaded with under-appreciated, great coaches. Coach Martinez was one of my favorite people of all time (miss you Coach!). Coach Owens at CSM is fantastic. Coach O and his staff at ARC are great. Coach Noonan at Sierra is a great person.

Not saying Sac should be rated above them, but they are generally a pretty good juco program

Doesn't CSM run the Triple Option? If so, I'm surprised Cal Poly doesn't get more backs and offensive linemen from them.

Yes still running the triple option, and transferring to CP is the game plan for a couple guys. CP just picked up a coach from CSM last year. Don’t quote me but I think it was 30 players CSM had move on to play at 4 year schools last year. Coach O retired after last year, Coach Tulloch is the new HC.

CP with their learn by doing motto and high grade standards isn’t the easiest place to transfer to.

I know your son is there, but I’m not crushing anybody’s dreams or goals. If they put their heart into it’s possible. You gotta believe it yourself before anybody else will.

I totally agree with you. CP has juco transfers, it’s just not the easiest place to transfer to
