the free throws awarded were incorrect.
I still can’t believe Legend hasn’t weighed in. He’s usually all over these boards come playoff time, in any sport. Especially games involving CN, and with such a controversial and heartbreaking finish. I hope he’s ok, and just on vacation somewhere exotic.
on the way back from san leandro high after the game he went right and ended up on E14 intsead of 580.... never to be heard from again...
Bogus Win?? WTF?? You don't see the CN Kid pull down the Moreau Player! Be mad at the Kid for not knowing the time & Situation. He Could've easily let Moreau player catch & try a half court shot in .4 sec. I'm Not condoning the taunting but Kids are Kids!
They were given free throws that were not merited.
Those 2 points are the difference in the score.
I ain't saying it's bogus cuz he had to have big balls to hit those shots... but the error allowed it so get that ring!
Now... can someone ask the CN coach why the blank did he tell his player to throw a full court pass with .4 and the lead? That coaching blunder earned them the defeat. Vegas needs to investigate that coach for betting the money line.
All he had to do was set the ball down inbounds or throw it at the players chest and it's over.
When you give a team two free throws they didn’t deserve, down 1….thats just an unbelievable error and shows that there are referees out there reffing Championship games and they do not even know the darn rules. Shameful.
Now originally I thought like many, that kid made a fatal mistake essentially tackling that player on Moreau, but the rule is that should be an inbound again not two free throws.
Now both teams have tough 1st round matchups in CIF and are likely underdogs in those games.
