Was agreeing with you. Their 2-8 was even worse than it looked. SHC did not belong in CCS Open (as evidenced by the fact that it went 0-3), and it will have a quick stay in D1 Norcal. I will say that next year should be a down year for the WCAL, other than Mitty of course. Lots of graduations at SI, SF and Valley. So things are likely to improve for a young SHC squad.

I agree they likely weren't an Open team, but there also weren't many options. Hillsdale maybe? Though they lost to SF by more in one game than SHC did in both total. Maybe the thinking was SHC was used to taking the beating of the WCAL schools? LOL. I was hoping for the Open bid so that they could at least earn a high seed in D2 but that sure backfired.
