The current issue has them at #5 in NorCal with a 5-7 record, but still ahead of teams like Bellarmine, Salesian, Riordan, etc. They must have been very impressed by their strength of schedule since the on court performance has been so-so.

That may be by far one of the worst rankings list I have seen in years. Would love to see explanations behind each team. Definitely would be comical.

The fact that the magazine has Dela at number 3 over dublin,salesian and bellarmine shows really how bad there rankings are there strength of schedule does not come close to either of those schools.

Well, Dela gets Dougherty Valley next Tuesday and Dublin next Friday in EBAL play, so we'll get a chance to see where they fit in with these squads.

As far as the WCAL teams in Bellarmine, Mitty and Riordan - we shall see in the upcoming weeks how this plays out. Can't discount the other teams (i.e. Serra and St. Francis) based on the "upset" wins they posted against Riordan and Bellarmine, respectively. Should be a battle through the last week of the season.
