I saw an interesting article about the national championship game last week that i thought I'd share. Obviously two great defensive teams with someone contradicting emphasis on man to man defense. Neither teams really press, but focus on solid half court man to man defense. In a culture of teams pressing the heck out of one another, this is an interesting approach. Would love to hear your thoughts!

I thought about this watching the game. There is no perfect system. You need to find a system you trust, find players who fit it and teach it well.
I’m a firm believer in man to man and with pressure. Of course you have to have the personnel to make it work. Pressure on the ball and no easy threes. Both teams have great philosophies and the right personnel to make them work. Great article!
