Paly and the publics

For fans of CCS public school girls' hoops (there is a rather large distinction between the publics and the private/parochials in CCS as you well know), there is a convenient venue for viewing the four best CCS public school units on Saturday. Palo Alto will host the CCS Division III and Division I championship games in their spectacular new gym (arguably the best prep facility in Silicon Valley). South San Francisco will face Aptos at 2 p.m. for the DIII title; Sequoia will take on Paly (and its stunning Curry-esque long-range bomber, Annika Shah) at 6 p.m. for the D1 crown. In any reasonable ranking, those are the top four CCS publics as we speak.

She is worth the price of admission when she's rolling _ and that includes her superb ball-handling and passing skills as well.

...also, it's a miracle that this kid somehow escaped the eager clutches of the Mitty's and Pinewoods of the world...but keep your delicate fingers crossed...nothing is sacred in CCS these days and nights...it's a jungle out there...

Annika is fun to watch. Just when you think the cupboards are bare for Palo Alto, she steps up as a sophomore
