After several back and forth leads by each team, the game ended with a thriller TD by Pitt with over 50 seconds left in the game. Everyone thought Freedom had it in the bag at 29-26 as Pitt had the ball with 1:54 mins left. This should be the game of the week, as Jordan Parker's interception secured it for Pitt.

Pittsburg's defense actually impressed me. Parker and Ramirez made the plays when needed. Thompson for Pittsburg is a fantastic running back and Boyd is going to be something special too considering he is only a sophomore. I think Pittsburg's inexperience was still in full affect tonight but Freedom is definitely no slouch. Great game over all by two well coached teams.

kriart & Paloma. Looks like the only team standing between Antioch and a perfect season will be Pitt during that last game of the regular season at 1:30 in the afternoon at Pirateland. Why the afternoon game? And, if unable to pull-off a miracle win, how do Parker and Ramirez (defenders I assume?) deal with that crazy good kid from Antioch and how close does Pitt hang, scorewise, with the Panthers by the time the goal-post shadows quadruple in length across an empty post-game stadium? Again, if P & R are d-backs, I gots to be thinking that looking down the road, they've got to be off and on during 24/7 thinking about what they gonna do and how they gonna do it to stop that crazy good kid from around the bend in the bay. Muds

Good question Mud. Guess we will find out. But I think Freedom will give Antioch a game. Fauolo had a big night and Rivers is very good too.

As far as the 1:30 start I know for years their game was always on a Saturday. I'm assuming they went back to the tradition. I hope they have the battle of the bands again. That was a great show.
