Well I have been following the RB Skatetbo from RL and I must say the kid is the real deal.
His opening burst for a 90 yarder was one of the most impressive runs I have ever seen.
If someone has it on film please post it......He has to be close to the section record of 3400...
The game is on NFHS via demand, but it appears that the broadcast was interrupted literally just before that play took place.
As for his yardage totals, JoeD reported the following:
Skattebo became the Sac-Joaquin Section’s all-time leader in single-season rushing with 3,553 yards. That eclipsed the record of 3,458 yards set by John Bordenkircher of Dixon in 1997.

Tremendous accomplishment, no doubt, but to be fair to Bordenkircher and Onterrio Smith, their rushing totals occurred in less games.
Bordenkircher rushed for 3,458 in 12 games.
Smith rushed for 3,125 in 12 games.
Skattebo rushed for 3,553 in 15 games.
Dixon was D3 back in 1997. Grant Union was D1 in 1998. Rio Linda is D4 this year. Just something to consider when comparing all these things.
Regardless, Skattebo accomplished this as a freaking Junior. It'll be interesting to see what he can do next season.
