ROCKLIN------BIG TURN OUT THIS SEASON

The 2016 season for the Thunder has a huge turn out for this years campaign, not a lot of size , but what looks like a quick and maybe a fast moving team....Now Rocklin is in the Sierra Foothill league which is no mickey mouse league as every game will be crucial except for Nevada Union and maybe Wood Creek, but these two teams just may fool every body this season.
Rocklin went 4-2 in league play and 10-4 for the season....League looses were to Oakridge 38-22, Folsom 28-14 , a preseason loose to Whitney 28-20 and a playoff loose to De Oro 30-20 in which the first meeting with Del Oro, Rocklin caught them looking the other way while the golden eagles were still looking for a way to win.
A look at the 2016 schedule shows for hard fought games coming which should give the thunder a serious battle test.

9-09.....Whitney Home 7 P.M.
9-16.....Clovis West home 7 P.M.

NCSCALFOOTBALL.....There are so many teams in the valley that could do you in, its not funny,Rocklin's preseason schedule no doubt is one of the toughest, but there are more out their which might top this one and some one may come forward with it.. No doubt, Rocklin's preseason schedule is brutal.

Rocklin's schedule is up there with Napa and Grant, always tough - Clovis West has been average with losses to questionable teams last couple years. Whitney? Not sure. Any other SFL updates out there?

Good schedule but St. Mary's line up of Serra (WCAL), Cardinal Newman, Central Catholic, Cosumnes Oaks , and St. John Bosco (Trinity) looks tougher by a wide margin. Especially when you take into consideration Bosco, Central, and Serra are all away games.
