Riordan's Seck Mor has committed to USF!
Love this kids potential. And easily one of the best recruits USF has ever gotten ahold of.
Don Lofgren. Bill Russell. Mike Farmer. KC Jones. Fred LaCour. Gene Brown. Kevin Restani. Joe Ellis. Erwin Mueller. Eric Fernsten. Phil Smith. Ollie Johnson. James Hardy. Bill Cartwright. Winford Boynes. Russ Gumina. Dave Lee. Pete Cross.
If Seck is even close to any of those former USF stars, well, the Dons are back in business. But that remains to be seen. This kid is the very definition of "raw talent."
Im a sucker for local talent staying local and having a decent career at the hilltop such as Walker, Darrell Tucker, Ali Thomas, John Duggan off the top of my head.Certainly. And perhaps Wallace Bryant as well.
Also Dior Lowhorn, Frankie Ferrari and Jordan Ratinho.Im a sucker for local talent staying local and having a decent career at the hilltop such as Walker, Darrell Tucker, Ali Thomas, John Duggan off the top of my head.
this guy mor seck got some pressure on him from all these names. boy bess be in the lab... he need work to live up to russell and cartwright
Chubby Cox was Kobe Bryant’s Uncle. His son John Cox 111 was also a very good player at USFHal Perry, Jim Brovelli, Chubby Cox, Jerry Mullen, Eddie Thomas.
lets be honest.. it isnt like he was going to carolina, kansas or kentucky. he needed usf more than they needed him. This is Awesome! I'm glad someone is signing local talent in the Bay Area.
bless his heart... last year he compared him to the #2 pick in the nba draft. literally being tall and black is where the comparisons end with them 2.Indeed. The original posting person seemingly has no clue as to the hoops history on the hilltop. That's OK. But, having watched this youngster in action, he is very far from a polished performer. He is very raw. He is tall, fast and jumps high. He could have a tremendous future as a track and field athlete. As for actual basketball skills, well, there are gaps. Lots of them. The one thing the Dons can do is to emphasize the defensive end of the floor. He can be a factor immediately there. No question. Offense? It's a work in progress. Interestingly, Bill Russell was somewhat similar coming out of McClymonds in the early 1950s. He was very raw. He was tall, fast and jumped high. He, in fact, was a terrific track and field athlete. And defense was his forte early on at USF. He developed into an offensive threat as the years went by. Is this kid another Bill Russell? Who knows?
He does have an offer from Kansas, as well as OK State and LMU.lets be honest.. it isnt like he was going to carolina, kansas or kentucky. he needed usf more than they needed him.
i said he wasnt going there. clearly picking usf over kansas tells a little sumthnHe does have an offer from Kansas, as well as OK State and LMU.
There is also the comfort factor. He appears to be right at home now in San Francisco. And that has to count for something when you are from a foreign country and still a teen.
i get it... but lawrence has 100,000 people in it and when you play for KU you are hardly ever alone. It isnt like he was going to Independence Junior College. Its the Jayhawks!!!Exactly his main recruiter was Mamadou N’Diaye at USF so there was definitely a comfort factor for someone living 1000000000 miles away from home as a teenager, seems logical maybe after getting settled in that he didn’t want to pack up and move to rural America alone again......but ofc we don’t treat these young men as human beings there must be something wrong with them if they don’t jump at the chance to play at a blue blood
N'Diaye is a former Auburn Tigeri get it... but lawrence has 100,000 people in it and when you play for KU you are hardly ever alone. It isnt like he was going to Independence Junior College. Its the Jayhawks!!!
either way is N'Diyae the old North Carolina Tarheel?
That may be true, but he could've gone to Pepperdine, LMU, San Diego, Fullerton, etc. I'm just glad he's staying in the Bay.lets be honest.. it isnt like he was going to carolina, kansas or kentucky. he needed usf more than they needed him.
Bro...it seems like you're Hating a little. Let's be positive in 2021.lets be honest.. it isnt like he was going to carolina, kansas or kentucky. he needed usf more than they needed him.
He's nowhere close to those guys. Being a Dons fan, I hope they make it work.Don Lofgren. Bill Russell. Mike Farmer. KC Jones. Fred LaCour. Gene Brown. Kevin Restani. Joe Ellis. Erwin Mueller. Eric Fernsten. Phil Smith. Ollie Johnson. James Hardy. Bill Cartwright. Winford Boynes. Russ Gumina. Dave Lee. Pete Cross.

Certainly. And perhaps Wallace Bryant as well.
Duggan was a disappointment. He hit key 3's at Kezar (Irish won anyway) but hits the rim for the Dons.Im a sucker for local talent staying local and having a decent career at the hilltop such as Walker, Darrell Tucker, Ali Thomas, John Duggan off the top of my head.
