St. Mary's starters were on the bench for 60% of this game. During the last four minutes of the 2nd quarter St. Mary's went on a 17-0 run while the starters were on the bench. Talk about depth!

Highlight of the game was Cayton's 3/4 length of the court that hit nothing but net as time expired in the 1st quarter. The smile on her face when she hit it was just as crowd pleasing.

Isn't that a pretty good team they beat like that? That's just not fair ! Perhaps SMS should be taking on some boys jv and varsity teams?

Just kidding. But they appear to be on a mission to win a state title. Although there are a couple of teams in Northern Cal capable of making a nice run at the open title. Obviously SMS are the favorites.
