More big games tonight as the TCAL-Rock teams move on to their second home-and-away contests:

Previous games:
El Cerrito lost the first match-up in Vallejo, 69-54. Alondre Ray-Love kept it close with 16 points and 5 boards for the Gauchos. For the Bruins, Akil Edwards poured in 26 points and added 7 boards and 4 assists while DiShon Jackson had 18 points, 11 boards, and 5 blocks; Jalen Scott also finished with 17 for the home team.

After taking the lead in the 2nd and holding it thru 3 quarters of play, Albany fell to Salesian in Richmond, 61-56. Jovon Mclanahan led the Pride with 20 points, 3 assists and 2 steals, who also got 10 and 9 points from Shane Bell and Jaden Lazo. Albany was paced by 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals by Julian Bryant, and 17 points, 10 boards, and 4 steals from Avri Finch. AJ Gilbert added 9 points and 4 assists for the visiting Cougars.

Hercules @ DeAnza's first game was cancelled.
