Check out the above link. It is true that there are teams that are D2 that will be moved to D1. Elk Grove plays in a D1 league, so if they are champions, they play in D1 bracket. That is just one example. There will be some 5-5 teams that make the playoffs, but very few because of the reduced number of at large spots in the D1-D4 brackets. The SJS awarded the SFL and the Delta 4 automatic berths and 5 other leagues an extra berth based upon the leagues performance in prior year playoffs. So, with an extra 9 spots gone, there will be very few 5-5 teams. Thank goodness.
