What State Bowl Game are you most looking forward to?

Here are two games that I think will be really good this weekend

1-AA: Pittsburg vs. Lincoln-San Diego (this has become the premier game most years with Open likely being a no contest. Lincoln has a big win over Grant)

3-AA: Frontier-Bakersfield vs. Amador Valley (Frontier had an early season win over Oak Rdige, but lost to Liberty. AV comes in playing well with a good offense)

5AA: Local interest.

1AA: This could be the best game of the weekend.

1A: Again, local interest. I live about a mile from Edison.

2AA: Much like in the regional where Grant was heavily favored due the Calpreps 'playoff bump', I think this game will be much closer than predicted. I don't think Pacifica will win, but I don't think they'll be a push-over.

4A: Living in SoCal, what I'd hear a lot is how much tougher it is in the SS. "Week in, week out" was the most common term. But what I came to realize is that this was really only true at the upper levels. The mid-sized schools weren't anything special. I think SPXSM demonstrated this in their playoff run. I think Sonora is going to have their way in this game and give a reality check.

6AA: Looking at the numbers prior to the regional games, nothing about either Arcata nor Portola stood out. But after watching their games from last weekend, I am impressed. Both teams play hard and can execute. This could be a good game.

7AA: Similar comment to that for 6AA. I didn't really expect much from this level, but both Moreau and Lindsay handled their business last week. Could be another good game.

Def the Pitt vs Lincoln Game (1AA). Sort of similar styles and both tough public schools. These guys both love the big plays. Who makes more of them will be the winner.
Grant shows up like they did on the road at St Francis and I think they win.
