Folsom moving forward

Sammy is way too fixated on ”tiers”. I find tiers to be especially lame. Especially tiers he subjectively invents. It’s eye roll material, truly.

If Sammy‘s biased takes and opinions were tier based they’d never be higher than tier 3 or 4. They all come from a place of bias in favor of SoCal, the Trinity League and his alma mater. Anything not under that umbrella must be denigrated, belittled and dismissed at all costs.

In many ways he’s SoCal’s version of G61, Block, Patsy, etc. Agenda driven hyperbole.
You may have set a site record (at least for 2022) of being wrong in every statement made in a single take.

The Tiers are a simple way to group teams. For example, some polls would favor a 14-0 Serra above a 13-1. SJB.

The Tiers would put SJB in Tier 1 and Serra in Tier 3/4 which addresses the gap in ability. Most likely the score ends up 52-14 which justifies the Tier separation over the (relatively close) Individual team ranking in the various polls.

As far as favoring Socal, it is only because SoCal teams have proven to be much better both in talent and quantity. It will be interesting to see if a slacker SoCal program like Laguna Hills can compete with the NorCal juggernaught Bellarmine, which always gets spoken about highly on this forum.

As far as your gas lighting about Rocklin's WR playing QB, the so called WR was the starting QB the previous year and was very good, not some 14 yr old freshman with bucked teeth, like you make out. Servite didn't have NFL Troy Niklas who was hurt, and would have stopped the Rocklin run game which was effective in the 2nd half.
