We are excited to announce to the high school hoops community the
2024 Super Saturday matchups slated for Feb. 3rd, hosted by
Venture Academy (Stockton), presented by
NCSTV, and held at Delta College in Stockton. The popularity and platform this showcase has grown into has resulted into taking the event to a larger capacity facility in an effort to house all the hoop heads out there for a full day of basketball bliss.
One of the premier showcases around, we have consistently brought together some of the best players, programs, and coaches for this all-around fantastic event. Two years ago the action took place inside the intimate confines of the Venture Academy Gymnasium where a full house was treated to a classic battle between future D1 stars. Campolindo & Aidan Mahaney collided with Lincoln & Miles Byrd in arguably the best game of the year ending with a last tenth-of-a-second full court pass and runner to beat the buzzer ending with a walk-off Cougars win. Then last year's event brought out teams such as State Champion San Joaquin Memorial, St. Joseph (Santa Maria), Monterey Trail, Grant, and more.
This year's version of
Super Saturday has a chance to surpass them all with fantastic matchups and stars, as we have a ton of local flavor ready to go up against some of the area's best right here in our backyard of Stockton's local Delta College - a perfect setting in a gymnasium large enough and comfortable for a full day of hosting high school hoops action.
IRON SHARPENS IRON and these teams are up for the challenges on the Delta College stage, as it will be the final Saturday test for teams to tune-up before jumping into playoff action. All games will also be streamed live on the NCSTV Network with the best announcers and production around.
