Coaches and players any insight on how the Bay shakes down this year? I love SHP coaching / Menlo-Atherton athletes / BHS and Hillsdale coaches and players fight every game / Aragon and Terra Nova can they win this year? Ocean- HMB and Kings good QB's good small level teams - others Sequoia,Woodside,Menlo and SSF how was their summer? Lake-San Mateo could this be their year? Carlmont should improve good hire at coach - Jefferson can score not much on defense - Cap young team JV was bad prevented them to move up after winning league title - EC and Mills rebuilding like the 49ers

Bay -
  • M-A looks to be the top team this year and possibly one of the best in CCS. Well coached and have the talent behind it.
  • SHP will be just behind them as they're too well coached and have a great system, so the drop off won't be as big as expected.
  • TN depending on their defense can climb above the top two teams, but need to get stops to help out their explosive offense.
  • Burlingame, Hillsdale, and Aragon are replacing too much to be contenders but will give those teams competitive games.

Ocean -
  • TKA is the favorite with a really good coach, a really good QB, and some really good skill talent. They have a D1 lineman and if they can play better on defense and in the trenches, they will run away with the Ocean.
  • HMB is a notch below due to graduating some talent, but they're very well coached, physical, and disciplined. They will be the one team who can beat TKA in the Ocean.
  • Menlo, Sequoia, South San Francisco, and Woodside finish behind them. I would take Menlo and Sequoia out of that group to possibly be playoff teams.

Lake -
  • Jefferson and San Mateo are the top two teams and will battle it out for the Lake title. Jefferson needs to get better on defense to beat SM.
  • Cap finishes in 3rd with Carlmont just behind ahead of El Camino and Mills.

The Mills situation is dire. Another coaching change. Low turnout. Weak feeder system. Unhelpful demographics. Fielding a competitive varsity football team is getting to be harder and harder in Millbrae.
