Just posted this on another thread, but it belongs here too:
The most impressive thing about SRV & Granada being in the D1 finals is that 3 NCS teams were placed in the Open. No other section had more than 1 in the Open. So in theory the 4th & 5th best NCS teams ran the table in D1, and they weren’t even the top rated teams in their own league (DLS).
This promises to be a good matchup tomorrow night! 🍿

I don’t think we’ll see another blowout like the EBAL playoff game at Granada. SRV simply put on a clinic that night with brilliant team play, and destroyed an obviously very good Matador team by 24. Granada may have come into that one a little too confident after winning the league matchup, and SRV was lying in wait for the rematch. Rounds 1 & 3 were both very close and could have gone either way.

Both teams come into this one with impressive D1 runs to get to the final. These 2 teams know each other extremely well by now, and with the state D1 title game on the line, it should be another battle. I have to favor the Wolves here as they are playing very effective team ball on both sides, and seem to on a mission. But this Granada squad is healthy and hungry, and very capable of winning a big road game as they showed Saturday night in Clovis. Buckle up!

There might be 3 revenge tour games that night. Oakland, Riordan, and Granada all trying to get it back in blood.

Also of note, Clovis West is actually in Fresno.
