This would actually be a fun post. Ranking the best teams from the last decade. That Bellarmine team was very good. Too bad they didn't have regional games back then.
I would have to add to that list the 2008 Bellarmine team. They were a better team( possibly the best Bells team ever) and had more talent than the 2011 team that took DLS into double OT.
I know that kid thinks about that extra point at least once a week and will for the rest of his entire life..Yet another great team. 2008 was another pretty good year for NorCal. The Bells and Grant were pretty damn good and likely would have been a handful for DLS. Granite Bay had one of their better teams that season, but had to play Grant in the 1st round and gave them the closest game they played all season (score wise). They lost by 3 and easily could have won it. As we all know, that Grant team went on to beat the PAC-5 champ in the Open.
I think any of those three could have won State that season. Just so happens that Grant did.
Regarding the Bells 2011 team, the one thing they had in their favor was Travis McHugh. That kid was a beast.
I know we are talking about decades, but I remember watching that 1992 St Francis team dominate. R.J. Hackett was Mike Vick before there was one. They also had a LB Nick Watts who was a beast and they went 13-0. It would have been nice to see that team in a regional type of game, because my guess is they would have won a state championship. This would actually be a fun post. Plays CV, beats them by 1. Claims they're a national powerhouse.
Why are you so obsessed with CV? Nobody even talks about them...Fun fact: Clayton has 9 total offensive plays in their playbook.
I would be more concerned with your level of concern for your local neighbor.Lol....
Says the guy obsessed with Folsom. Wish you played football huh? Too bad you're some old troll now. Off to practice
