Paloma.......Is it possible for you to cut/paste the schedule? When I try to twit the Tweeter the message: Unavailable keeps popping up. Perhaps I am the big twat but am interested in Pitt's schedule.
Gracias Primo mio

Turlock preseason:

Rocklin
Clovis West
Central - Fresno
Manteca
Clayton Valley Charter

Coach Peterson continuing his practice of scheduling tough out-of-conference games to prepare team for the playoffs. A down year for them in 2021 but I think they will bounce back this year. The schedule last year was the same except for Bullard instead of Central, and they were close in every game and defeated Clovis West with a backup quarterback. Every game except Rocklin, that is. Turlock was missing key players including quarterback and if they had played they still would have been smoked but at least they might have scored.

Few would refer to you as "the big twat." Most unfair. A small twat perhaps. Or even a big twit.

Lincoln - SF
Central Catholic

Cardinal Newman
San Leandro
Vacaville

De Anza - El Sobrante

Windsor lost a lot of talent from last years champ team. But it’s Cronin so you can expect good things and they have one of the best players in redwood empire returning.
Newman had a young team last year and should be only better in 2022.

Escalon is expected to bring back a lot of their key players so that will be a good test for Windsor.

Also playing MD so pretty tough pre league
Also the Big 8 and southwestern leagues combined to form a conference I guess with the better teams in one a lesser in the other league

Cowboys upped their nonleague schedule with team that will be favorite in the PCAL Gab and lots of weapons and talent returning. Mariners have a nice nonleague schedule. Palma line will be big question mark this season and will lack size. Really good depth of skill players at RB and WR (D1 prospect), and QB question mark as well wither backup from last season takes over or underclassman. Without line and if QB doesn't reload some could be a down year for the Chieftains. Santa Cruz Cardinals moves to the PCAL Gab this upcoming season.

Salinas High (Cowboys)

Monterey Trail has posted their schedule in MaxPreps. Non-league games are all against teams that competed in or won their section's division championship game. Additionally, Grant enters the Metro League for football this Fall.

8/26 vs De La Salle

9/2 @ St. Francis (Mt. View)

9/9 vs Merced

Metro League

9/16 @ Laguna Creek

9/30 vs Burbank
10/7 @ McClatchy

That's a very tough non league

That's a very tough non league
Yes, it's statistically more difficult than last year's non-league. MT kept the two best teams, Folsom (57. 9) and De La Salle (60.9). They replaced Lincoln (25.3) with a comparable team in Merced (24.8). They really took it up a notch by replacing Clayton Valley (38.2) with St. Francis (60.5).

In addition, don't be surprised if Grant shows significant improvement over their last few seasons. They will rebound with wins in the Metro this upcoming season, and their size and speed will create match-up problems that no other team in the league can replicate.

Are they expecting an exceptionally strong team this upcoming season?

Agree, and CV was no slouch

MT has that part of South Sac and EG locked down. They compete with Florin and Valley as nearby schools for athletes. MT has a great HC and will be solid for the forcible future.

Not particularly, but there's been a pretty high level of success the last few years. It's kinda like mistark implied with his post: they know who they are and what they do. It's a program thing now. They know they are a good program as far as the Section goes, and they are placing the opportunity to become a significant Nor Cal team in front of the kids. It gives them something to look forward to and to work toward.

I don't know what M-A has coming through the pipeline because they were loaded with talent at critical positions,, but now they've lost those critical pieces to graduation.
