Clear as day.
Going to be tough to find "18 transfers!" as people have proclaimed on here, even going back school years.
I know it doesn't fit the narrative. If someone has evidence of all these transfers, feel free to post and provide a link.
It does. Dispels many of the rumors on this board.Great website!
out of curious, does anyone know if the same exists for the CCS and SS? There are a few schools I’d like to look into.
Name one other SJS team with 5 transfers starting!Still a very low percentage of the entire team.
ALL TOP programs have transfers. It's par for the course.
Same argument, just packaged differently. The CIF doesn't adopt transfer rules and issue rulings based on if they're going to "start" or not. Dumb argument.Name one other SJS team with 5 transfers starting!
Even better.Name one other SJS team with 5 transfers starting!
OK, let’s speak facts. You’ve previously contended that Del Oro does the same thing. Fact, there are 3 players on Del Oro’s roster who are transfers. Only one of those, Sam Murray, ever sees the field, and his family bought a beautiful mansion on 5 acres in Loomis. The other two never see the field unless it’s a blowout. Folsom has two key players, QB Austin Mack & Diego Villareal, who transferred from Del Oro to Folsom midway through their freshman year, but STILL live in Loomis. But that’s ok, go ahead & ignore that facts and keep telling yourself that every other team is doing the same thing & your mighty team is no different than the others.Same argument, just packaged differently. If any of the other SFL schools were like Folsom, they'd have the same thing going on. It's not like the schools are far apart. People have choices and and have to follow guidelines.
There you go again, using MD, SJB, & DLS to justify your position.Even better.
By definition of a transfer (or not living within a mythical school boundary).................Imagine what SJB, MD, and DLS would look like (same rules applied), as in your argument.
I think the ole privates mentioned above would look a little different as well The argument about Folsom is asinine unless you're going to apply your same standard to EVERY school competing in the CIF.
Ah, so because DO has 3 transfers, but only 1 starts, it's different? lolOK, let’s speak facts. You’ve previously contended that Del Oro does the same thing. They all play in the CIF under the same umbrella- am I correct? There you go again, using MD, SJB, & DLS to justify your position.
I’m just saying that your subject of this thread that Folsom has 15 transfers & 3 are male is a complete misrepresentation of the truth. Fact is, Folsom has more transfers than the rest of the SFL combined.Ah, so because DO has 3 transfers, but only 1 starts, it's different? lol
My post is correct. It's all available on the CIF site for 22/23.I’m just saying that your subject of this thread that Folsom has 15 transfers & 3 are male is a complete misrepresentation of the truth. Fact is, Folsom has more transfers than the rest of the SFL combined.
Your post is incorrect. Of Folsom’s 15 transfers this year, 5 are male, & all 5 are on the football team: Redhead, Paga, Rodriguez, Carter, & Aguirre. Like you said, it’s all on the CIF-SJS website. But don’t let the facts get in the way of your cute narrative. And none of those DO transfers play football. My post is correct. It's all available on the CIF site for 22/23.
Del Oro shows 17 transfers for this school year, per the site. More than Folsom!
Oh, so they don't play football.......so 17 transfers is ok then? They just can't play football for Folsom lolYour post is incorrect. Or Lyons from EDH, & so on & so onhmmm..Badger never moved from Elk Grove area....Same with the Ecklund kid, never left Rocklin...I could go on and on but my point is factual.
Oak Ridge and Del Oro have a list of kids that moved from other areas to their school to play football.hmmm..Badger never moved from Elk Grove area....Same with the Ecklund kid, never left Rocklin...I could go on and on but my point is factual.
It does. Dispels many of the rumors on this board.
Just google CIF and whatever section you are looking for.
I was looking at another section early today.just did and nothing…
Moved is the KEY word....Badger and Ecklund NEVER moved...That is my point...The list is long over the years....Oak Ridge and Del Oro have a list of kids that moved from other areas to their school to play football.
Is there a point? Or that they just can't be a good football player and go to Folsom?
Transfers are applied for and approved by the CIF, which require a full family move.Moved is the KEY word....Badger and Ecklund NEVER moved...That is my point...The list is long over the years....
There you go again misrepresenting. I can’t speak to Oak Ridge, but Del Oro has one transfer. ONE, who plays football. He lived in GB & played for them through the Jr program & his freshman year. Then his family got the chance to buy their dream home on acreage in Loomis. They didn’t move “to play football for DO.“Oak Ridge and Del Oro have a list of kids that moved from other areas to their school to play football.

A full move is not always required. I know exactly where Austin Mack lives, and it’s in Loomis, not Folsom.Transfers are applied for and approved by the CIF, which require a full family move.
If you know otherwise, you should report it to the CIF immediately.
Besides- Ain't no one driving from EG to Folsom every day.
A full move is required. Check the CIF website. If you know something, report it.A full move is not always required. I know exactly where Austin Mack lives, and it’s in Loomis, not Folsom.
I never said Folsom didn't have transfers. Never ever ever said that. There you go again misrepresenting. I can’t speak to Oak Ridge, but Del Oro has one transfer. ONE, who plays football. Dude, if a family wants to transfer to Folsom for football, I get it. It gives them better exposure & a better chance of getting recruited. My point is you want to play both sides of the argument. You try to convince us that you don’t have the transfers and it’s an even playing field. Just admit you’ve got kids whose transfer was athletically motivated, and because of those transfers, your team is significantly better than they’d be without those players.
Not if the transfer is during freshman year. Look at the SJS ruling on Mack. It mentions nothing about change of residencyA full move is required. Check the CIF website. If you know something, report it.
So it wasn't a transfer then. Mute point. Not if the transfer is during freshman year. Look at the SJS ruling on Mack. It mentions nothing about change of residency
It was a transfer and the transfer is listed on SJS’s website. It just didn’t require a change of residence. Do your homework before spouting things as fact.So it wasn't a transfer then. Mute point.
Another fun fact. The Ngata brothers were not transfers.
You’re by far the biggest back tracking tool ever on this website. When it comes to the transfer totals, it is not for a single season. It is who is on the roster at the very moment that has transferred in during any year. Therefore when it is known Folsom has 18, that includes any senior, junior, sophomore that transferred in during a respective year that is currently on the roster. You really should have had the 47 Van Ness stop on Ellis Street and attended Sacred Heart versus taking the bus all the way to the water. Nobody has said on this thread that this season Folsom brought in 18 transfers. Do you get it now, or are you going to backtrack. So it wasn't a transfer then. Mute point.

It does. Dispels many of the rumors on this board.
Just google CIF and whatever section you are looking for.
Just because they played for the Jr program doesnt mean they are home grown products either. I know for a fact that Folsom Jr Bulldogs recruits from all over the Sac Valley as far north as Yuba City. So while they technically may not be a transfer because they came in as Freshman, they are not home grown kids.I always simply point out that the same rules apply to every public HS in CA. Rules are the same. It's also worth noting that a VAST MAJORITY of the players for Folsom are NOT transfers and many have played for the program since the youth level. Look at Jr Bulldogs- they are SMOKING most teams in the area even at the youth level- are they transfers!? lol
I just got into a debate about this with a guy in Lakeland on Max Preps. He literally believes every kid was born in Lakeland. So we have Florida and Texas public schools full of people that think all the kids are from the neighborhood. I always say it very clear, they don’t build 60 million dollar high school stadiums in Texas for the kids down all the streets.Just because they played for the Jr program doesnt mean they are home grown products either. You don't know the rules very well...Transfers are applied for and approved by the CIF, which require a full family move.
If you know otherwise, you should report it to the CIF immediately.
Besides- Ain't no one driving from EG to Folsom every day.
You've been calling this for over 5 years now. And guess what? The whoopings are still happening and parents are still avoiding the HWY 80 side schools. Why?and I'll be here when they fall.
Who cares where someone is born? I don't know why this keeps coming up. Parents move around in their lifetimes. There is NO HS IN AMERICA that has ONLY kids born and raised in the HS backyard. What planet are you people on?I just got into a debate about this with a guy in Lakeland on Max Preps. He literally believes every kid was born in Lakeland. Pasty: Plenty of schools in The U.S. have all players born in area/town of high school that they attend/play football are on the local team. Midwest, isolated rural areas all have High Schools and we as Americans love football. You can make a point but to suggest that there is no High School with all homegrown/born in the same town as they play football, I suggest you travel.Who cares where someone is born? You act like these schools have committed crimes because their best players weren't born at the local hospital. It's 2022, not 1965.
