Folsom has 15 TOTAL transfers for sports this year. 12 Females, 3 Males.

Pasty: Plenty of schools in The U.S. have all players born in area/town of high school that they attend/play football are on the local team. Midwest, isolated rural areas all have High Schools and we as Americans love football. You can make a point but to suggest that there is no High School with all homegrown/born in the same town as they play football, I suggest you travel.
This is CA- not the midwest. However, point taken.

So if a kid was not born within the school boundary, he isn't homegrown?

How many DLS kids are homegrown, by your definition? SJB, MD? What about Oak Ridge? How many of those kids were BORN in El Dorado Hills? Easy answer- none, there is no hospital in EDH, so technically the entire team is imported. Cheaters! :)
Maybe homegrown is the wrong word. I'm talking about where they currently live. Folsom Jr level and High School level have lots of kids that do not live in the boundaries and are on inter-district transfers. If they come in as freshman, then it wont show up on any sports transfer rulings. And I'm not talking about private schools, we all know private schools don't have boundaries and they do recruit.

SMH

Who frickin cares?? I mean, everyone seems to acknowledge that Folsom hasnt violated any rules. Do y'all have nothing better to do then let Pasty get under your skin? Because its pretty obvious he has (and 'yes', its annoying - but plays right into his hands).

Folsom is a good program, so kids want to play there - hence more transfers. Seems about right to me.

Are we now on this board actually using CIF rules as justification for a institution’s actions? I have long said all the SoCal schools have the same rules as the Northern schools to the cries of many. Yes CIF governs the state, there is not one set for these sections and another set for those sections etc………get over it winning coaches, teams, and programs will attract players. And that goes for both private and public. ✌️

Same old song and dance with your posts.

The problem is you leave out 1 semester transfers and host families that operate in the gray area of the CIF rule book. Teams up north have decided not to engage in that.

Care to comment on that?
