Here are three section games I'm watching for tonight

1. Sheldon-Christian Brothers. Both teams have offensive firepower. Sheldon is primed for a run at the Delta League title with skill players like Devin Green and Scott Nixon. Christian Brothers has a talented sophomore receiver in Phillip Bell. Both teams are ranked in the Top 8 in the Sacramento Bee rankings.

2. Heritage-Granada. The Matadors will look to bounce back from an opening loss to Riordan. In comes Heritage, which got 203 yards and four touchdowns from Devon Rivers in a 42-7 win over Dublin. The Patriots will look to improve to 2-0 heading into next week's game against Whitney.

3. Palma-Sacred Heart Cathedral. Palma needs to get its offense going after losing the opener to Mitty 29-7. Sacred Heart Cathedral beat Sacred Heart Prep 13-12 in the opener. Aidan McGrath connected with RL Miller for two touchdowns.

The second TD was from Mixon.

Not exactly. Jerry Mixon threw a touchdown on a flea flicker

Need to see how CB holds up to the physical run game of Sheldon. Can they play physical for 4 full qtrs. Nixon's teams are always big and physical. Key matchup is CB D vs Sheldon O.
