It was Logan 68-66 in OT.
Justin Pardini started the game at center with Ramzi Carter sitting out the entire first half on the bench. Romello Dunbar, Nate Robinson and I think Sean Ramos and Emmitt Neal also started. Irish trailed 38-26 at the half. SHC was 1 of 8 at the line in the first half. I lost count of the missed layups.
SHC outscored Logan 14-7 in the third quarter. Carter came in mid-way through and was able to at least put a body on Logan's 6-9 center who just had his way vs. anyone else. Carter also missed a 15-footer and promptly attempted a slam-dunk while the ball was in the cylinder off a shot by Dunbar for an offensive goaltending call. SHC outscored Logan 22-17 in the 4th to put the game into OT but turned the ball over twice, giving up 6 points total in the extra period to provide the final score.
Bryce Monroe played very well, as did Nate Robinson and Emmitt Neal. Dunbar handled the ball well but still needs work at the line. He injured his left wrist while flying out of bounds. He stayed on the bench with ice on his wrist. Irish sorely miss Alfred Hollins... and Nifai Tonga for that matter.
