The PAL has lost two of its better young point guards, both incoming juniors. Capuchino's April Tuason will not be back at the school this month; she and her family have moved to Arizona. South San Francisco's Alex Salise has transferred locally, reportedly to Notre Dame-Belmont, a member of the WBAL. In 2018-19, the PAL captured two Central Coast Section championships: Sequoia in Division I and Aragon in Division II. South SF was the runner-up in Division III.
