Skyline 32- Summer Tournament

Does anybody know if this Tournament is still happening and what teams are involved? Last year Menlo-Atherton and Serra showed their hand and looked explosive!! I have seen Sequoia and SI this summer MA, Palo Alto and Piedmont Hill all should be playing in March wondering if Tournament is still played in July like has in the past?

Could anyone in attendance provide the results ? Or is there a site that has updates? A long-running summer tourney tradition that has been impacted by the summer AAU circuit tourneys. Who remembers Riordan's Terrence Mullins taking off from the free throw for an emphatic flush against a loaded Fremont-Oakland team in the tourney final?!? The stands were packed back then.

Terrence was a hell of a player.

Ronald Reagan was still in the White House when St. Joseph's came onto the court for its first Skyline summer game and there was a 6-3 incoming freshman in the layup line; all eyes turned to that kid, Jason Kidd, already something of a youth legend. Even then, he was a man among boys with skills so advanced we just shook our heads in abject wonder.

Yes yes yes, my Dad and I use to head up there for the semis and finals every summer to get a sneak peak at the upcoming Riordan team. Amazing the crowds they drew back then. Definitely a different era....

Skyline coach works hard to keep this tournament going! There was some good teams and some good coaching going on but no real standout players! Next weekend the finals will produce a solid game.
