Been gone for awhile.

The owner, who lived in San Jose of all places, just didn't maintain it well. The only active part was the forums. Finally, it melted into the parent company. Californiapreps.com, I think ran by Dave Keefer, stepped up a bit on its SoCal football coverage. But that site still focuses heavily on basketball.

Really, SouthernCalPreps.com didn't do very well after Mark Tennis and co. took his marbles home to independently-ran CalHiSports.com.

Makes sense I checked out the forum on californiapreps last night and it was dead, the socalpreps board used to be entertaining as a lurker
