Phillips thinks he’s Kobe Bryant and that’s his main issue. Bad people in his corner, giving him bad advice. 6’3…..if your between 6’2 and 6’4 that is what’s known in basketball circles as tweener area, it’s one of the worst places to be in. Guy hardly played for Dream City last season, often coming off the bench.
I don’t know what school would take a flyer on him……
Jordan Mize is really good and playing for Sierra Canyon was probably the right move. He will eventually play at a Prep school, but for the first two seasons Sierra Canyon is a great choice.

man i feel attacked.. 6'4 is perfect for the ladies... but it hurts you in hoop for sure... stuck between not enough handle to play the 1 and cant shoot enough to play the 2, while not long enough to play the 3.... FML
I think he peaked soph year in the state champ game at G1C. He was spectacular and it was a big coming out party. Too bad he just didn't stay at MC. They probably would have an open title.
But likely 6"2 as folks pointed out and seems to have bounced around like a yo yo ever since.

So to be fair to Mari the news that Caleb Love is coming back might have led to his change of heart. Caleb, KJ Lewis also withdrew from the draft, and Jaden Bradley means minutes will be less for him as a freshman. They also lost another recruit who was a guard.
