Antelope stepped in at the last minute to replace Louisville, so we wanted to make sure Sean was happy with his bracket.

As for University, they have losses by 38 and 49, so it was hard to justify moving them up much.

Thanks much ... at this moment, from this end, it seems like it's held together with spit and duct tape.

Those UHS losses were to Acalanes and Riordan. Acalanes is top shelf and Riordan hit an amazing amount of 3s in that game. Lol. UHS is not deep but 2 playing D3 next year. Better than your standard D5. In the end you just play who is in front of you and roll with it. It will be a great tourney for all.

St. Mary's, without Evelini Smith (family matter) pushes Bishop Montgomery to the final five seconds before losing.

Platinum Division:
McClatchy 73, Clovis 56
Windward 50, Kamehameha 34

McClatchy vs Windward tomorrow
Note: Clovis beat St. Mary's Stockton (SMS) earlier in the season; SMS beat McClatchy a couple weeks ago; McClatchy just beat Clovis.
SMS is now 6-6.

Diamond Division:
Priory 58, Perry (AZ) 39
Chaminade 49, Vanden 39
Fairmont Prep 71, Salesian 62
St. Francis Mountain View 53, San Joaquin Memorial 50

Those are good wins for Priory and St. Francis.

Mater Dei beat Oakland Tech 91-25 in the final Platinum Division game

Emerald Bracket:

Lincoln Stockton beat Redwood 62-41
Los Gatos beat Antelope 59-58
Clayton Valley beat Bishop Mangoue 73-40
Colfax beat Foothill 56-39

Wow 91-25?? Did anyone watch this game and know what happened? I’ve heard Mater Dei is good but to hold Tech to just 25 is surprising. I wonder if Tech was down a ball handler or something and just couldn’t get it past half court without turning it over for easy lay ups.

I saw the first quarter and a little of the second. Tech got off two shots in the first 7 minutes of the quarter and Jody Wynn's daughter had eight points in the first minute.

It was 47-10 when I left, but at one point it was 33-3. And the three were all free throws.

It was just ugly. It reminded me of my early days at Bentley. Tech could do nothing; MD did whatever they wanted.

That's alot of "5 stars" to be down 33-3 at 1 point.

OT angling for another D3 state championship.

Big win for St Francis over Fairmont Prep 66-58 tonight. The Lancers remain undefeated and advance to the finals of the Diamond division where they will face Priory. CCS acquitting itself quite well.

2 more than just about every team in the Bay Area. West Coast Preps ranks both girls top 6 in the Bay Area and both hold numerous D1 offers. What does the rest of Tech’s team look like? Do they have 3 decent role players? I need to watch this game if it’s available. Crazy they were held to just 25 points. I just realized this was the same team that posted about one of their players (Johnson) having a historic night in a blowout win last week.
