St. Francis 2025 RB Kingston Keanaaina has committed to BYU

St. Francis-Mountain View 2025 running back Kingston Keanaaina (No. 40 overall in the 2025 rankings) comes into this season as one of the top running backs in the region and has now come off the board with a commitment to BYU.

Keanaaina has a slashing running style, will break arm tackles and is a big play threat. He has provided a different running back than previous Lancers who have relied more on power. The WCAL running back of the year in 2023 ran for 1,309 yards and 16 touchdowns.

He is the second Top 50 recruit to commit to BYU in joining Fremont-Oakland DE Kelepi Vete.

Acalanes 2025 SF Dulci Vail commits to Cal Poly

Acalanes small forward Dulci Vail (6-foot-0) has added versatility to her game over the past year and showed well on the Adidas circuit with Bay City Basketball. She ended her recruitment on Monday by committing to Cal Poly.

Vail moves really well without the ball and can finish against contact. She can face up and get to the basket off her dribble and shoot the three ball. Vail is a good rim protector and rebounder too.

She had other offers from Cal State Northridge, Cal State Fullerton, San Diego, Sacramento State, Cal State Bakersfield and Southern Utah,

Vail, who is ranked No. 6 in the 2025 class rankings, gives Cal Poly two NorCal commitments in the class after her Bay City Basketball teammate Ella Skrzyniarz committed to the Mustangs last week.

Cal Poly lands 2025 guard Ella Skrzyniarz

Vista del Lago shooting guard Ella Skrzyniarz (5-foot-10) has backed up a strong junior year with impressive play for Bay City Basketball on the Adidas circuit. She ended her recruitment on Friday by committing to Cal Poly.

Skrzyniarz is a high energy player who has a good handle that lets her create space for her jumper (out past the three point line) and get into the paint to finish.

She averaged 21 points, eight rebounds, two assists and two steals per game in earning All-Metro honors by the Sacramento Bee.

Skrzyniarz is ranked No. 9 in the 2025 class rankings.

Commitment Breakdown: Casa Roble TE Elijah Huddle commits to Sacramento State

Elijah Huddle (6-foot-3, 205 pounds) is a good get for Sacramento State as the Hornets beat out league foes like UC Davis and Eastern Washington and Mountain West schools Colorado State and Wyoming.

He is a physical player who should continue to get bigger, routes clean routes and has burst after the catch to cause issues at tight end. Huddle also has some position versatility, including flipping to defense.

A league MVP as a junior, Huddle had 904 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns in addition to four interceptions on defense.
