1. Starting the year with three straight road wins, Downey has posted wins over Lincoln-Stockton, East Union and Merced. Conner Stoddard has completed 73 percent of his passes for 949 yards and nine touchowns. His top receiver is Camden Rush, who has 295 yards and four touchdowns.

2. Through two games, Antioch running back Charles Brown Jr. has rushed for 498 yards and six touchdowns. In a loss to Vintage last week, he had 16 carries for 209 yards and three scores. Last year, he was just shy of 1,000 yards at Pittsburg.

3. Mitty is looking to bounce back from some down seasons with early wins over Palma (29-7) and Mountain View (48-7). Wills Towers has thrown for 475 yards and six touchdowns. Ben Kim and Danny Scudero each have three touchdown catches.

@Streak One , I'm seeing Oak Ridge is scheduled to kick-off with Silverton-Oregon at 4pm on Friday in El Dorado Hills. (Honor Bowl) Am I reading this correctly? 106 is expected to be the temp at kickoff. Hope for the players and fans sake this gets moved to 8pm.
Btw - what is the Honor Bowl?

It is a football showcase that honors the military. They have a NorCal and SoCal showcase. Pittsburg played in the SoCal version last week.

yeah it is tough to keep a 4 pm game on Friday. I know they have some issues because they have out of state teams coming.
