This seems like a lot of trouble to go through to make you more popular with your friends...and expensive too. I think we should put these dollars towards things that matter more than high school football satisfying your conversation at the piggly-wiggly lol
Not when you play a team that also have good coaching. That becomes a mute situation in which talent will eventually win in most cases.
First of all, I'm more Cali than you'll ever be. Let's make that perfectly clear right now. I'm a Cali King son.... lived on both sides of Cali for years including the Central Valley. I know Cali like the back of my hands and quickly learning the state of Georgia landscape as I know Cali. As I have told you before, DLS needs to stay on the porch if they don't get the athletic skill players to compete against the Southern athletes. I know you're butt hurt because I'm on point but people like you need a kick in their butt to come back to reality. You are so clueless and under the notion that DLS football can just go to the South and win because of superior coaching. How dumb of you to think such a thing when these athletic teams have very good coaching as well. elprup, you need to start listening to someone that knows both Cali and Georgia/Southern football instead of allowing your mouth or keyboard to consistently make you look like a pathetic moron. Nothing wrong with allowing me to educate you when you are so uninformed son. The last I heard DLS football program lost to two different Florida schools (St. Aquinas & Lakeland) and a down (Trinity Euless) Texass school. Those are the cold hard "FACTS" that you cannot contest no matter how stupid and ignorant you continue to make yourself look on this thread. Now go and lick your wounds from this "L" and try your luck on another thread without all the excuses. LMAO!

PG, with the exception of the St. Thomas Acquinas game, DLS lost to Lakeland by 1 point in OT and to Euless by 5. These were games that could've gone DLS's way, how can you say DLS shouldn't schedule these games when they were very competitive? Adam, I have repeatedly said in many post that when it comes to football I'm not into "we almost won". Now if you want to fault me for that go right ahead but I'll never be that type of guy. Me and moral victories and horseshoe don't get along. Yes, I totally agree with you on this...DLS can compete but until they get the skill position players needed to beat these Southern teams they will struggle to win those games. The first time they played a very athletically stacked "St. Aquinas" Florida team they got boat raced. The next year St. Aquinas was down and they still beat a very good and favorite to win DLS team. Was also told that the "Lakeland" Florida team was down the year they came out West to beat DLS in their own back yard. Same was true or said about this Trinity team that beat DLS earlier this year. DLS had one of there best teams ever and lost to Trinity. Just imagine if this was a Trinity team stacked with superior athletic seniors this year. Would have hate to see these teams stacked with a bunch of seniors or more talented players. Do you see the pattern here??? Hopefully we can agree to disagree but I'm not changing my stance for no one when I know the deal.
Now I'm going to say this and hopefully this makes sense to those folks that are Cali football knowledgeable. The uninformed are free to state their opinion but it won't and will not change a thing on how I view things. For example, Grant High School...if you give that program of kids to Ladouceur their is no way a Southern team would beat Grant. Too much elite talent and superior coaching going on. Not taking anything away from a great coaching staff at Grant but Ladouceur is the "Cali King" of HS football. This is not debatable. Give Ladouceur the talent that comes through Centennial of Corona and they'll whoop Southern teams like a stepchild. Where DLS struggles Grant and Centennial would excel and be victorious against the elite Southern teams. Hate to put it this way, but it is what it is. And this is what it is.
You're not more Cali than anyone and I am not your son. What you are is very sad: someone who claims expertise and concern while being denigrating toward high school students and speaking out of ignorance about something you have no say or any real commitment to. You don't care about California high school football or dls winning a game against the south, you care about being better than your fellow Georgians. You reek of conceit and pathos. If dls did win a game in the south, why do you feel you have any claim to it? What did you do? Very sad indeed.
Excuses after excuses after excuses. I am so ashamed that you consider yourself a Californian. Hopefully you are not a native because you are just as embarrassing as DLS against these elite Southern teams. Let's end this because you have been schooled on this. I changed my Moniker because I'm a "Trojan fan 4 life" not because of anything else. Created the PGW Moniker because poster "WWHS44" was spewing crap about how Whitney owned PG during both schools inaugural year. When PG actually beat Whitney on the field of play both games that year. One at Sheldon HS and the other at Whitney HS. When I started stating facts he began to talk a little more crap so I created the moniker PGownsWhitney. He eventually had to stand down on the whole Whitney was better than PG thing. I'm sure he's going to chime in on this but I'm more than ready for his BS. Now that I have made my point in regards to the history of those two schools, I've decided to move on and let bye gones be bye gones by creating a moniker that fits my persona. Btw, my Trojans play Whisky tonight check us out on ESPN at 7:30PT or 10:30ET. If you're really about your football this the game to watch. Should be a helluva game between these two schools. SC owns the series 6-0. Btw, been repping SC since 1968.
