Yeah, the GB and OR game will be good. I expect very close grind it out old school SFL battle. I just think Ene will be the X Factor.I think you're spot on with GB over OR and Rocklin over Jesuit. I have no idea what to expect from the Whitney-DO game.
FWIW, I'm thinking of skipping the Jesuit @ Rocklin game to head to DPH for the GHS v. Lincoln match up.
We don't get many opportunities to see SDS, LAS, and SS teams up here sans when the State games were held at Sac State.
Looking at Lincoln's schedule, they've got a 1-point loss to 5-0 Arbor View of Las Vegas, a similar blowout win that Folsom produced over Long Beach Poly, and a close, competitive loss to 5-0 JSerra of the Trinity league. That seems impressive on paper (I'm gonna check out some of their game film).
After GHS, Lincoln will be facing Los Alamitos and Cathedral Cathlolic in the coming weeks. They might be an interesting team to check out, and I think GHS might be in some trouble this Friday night.
It also doesn't hurt that Lincoln-SD is where my all-time favorite RB Marcus Allen went to school, as did another personal favorite in Terrell Davis.
its going to be the wish or temu versionAgreed.
A lot of people on Twitter are really excited about this, but the reality is that this Pac12 isn't really going to be the Pac12.
It's going to be more like the MWC was when the original WAC members wanted to get away from the Big West teams.
same.. we had to do what we had to do to survive and that wasnt always legal or ethicalNot only this but with the old system you couldn't even work during the year! I was a college athlete and I can tell you without FASFa you had no money to live. That system definitely needed to change. Agree the current system isn't perfect and needs updating but the pre-nil system wasn't good.
nothing is free. ask any D1 athlete what it cost to get there, stay there, and finish there. So a free college education isn't enough?
Does he have a name?Anyone that attends Oakdale high games know it's not a hot bed for athletes ! They finally have one. 200 yards a game. Averaging 9.1 yards a carry. His dad was the last person fom Oakdale drafted to NFL. A backup for San Diego. I year NFL Europe
Barcelona dragons. Still holds single game passing record Calpoly SLO. His mom holds or held most of the track and field records. His after contact yards are excellent. And he is #3 ranked wrestler. And he is probably better on defense. Max prep check out his videos!. Playing at Mountnhouse Friday.
Have to check my busy schedule? Sounds good. Should be interesting game.I’m going to the CC vs Manteca game if you want to meet up.
I’m going to the CC vs Manteca game if you want to meet up.Carl I was hoping to go to a Downey game and see you. But both Oakdale and Downey have byes. Lamb is still leading in passing. Oakdale is Oakdale run the ball. Only this year they have a good back. He is leading section in rushing. But he has sat out the second half of 3 games. Fun to watch.
That’s a Great Choice!…, That will be a fun game!…. Grant will play well at home, game will be a battle!….I think you're spot on with GB over OR and Rocklin over Jesuit. I have no idea what to expect from the Whitney-DO game.

Geez... Take a chill pill.what is wrong with you? the thread is about a great man and coach passing away and your response it to complain about a nickname on a twitter page and then completely finish this man’s legacy by acting like it’s an afterthought.
please seek help.
Ive brought up before that Riordan's issue willl not be putting up points, its whether or not their defense wants to stop the opponent from scoring more. I do expect quite a shootout on Saturday vs SH (if those that missed the Wilcox game are able to play).I don’t know about the availability of Lawson or the others. I understand SHC also had some of its key players out against Wilcox?
Lawson, LBs Tiatia and Burke, and Tommy Tofi played very little or not at all against SHC last year.
Jones’ performance in non-league has been very impressive. He joins an impressive Riordan running backs room that had the likes of Tyrone McGraw and NFLers Steve Sewell, Derek Loville, Donald Strickland and Eric Wright. Credit also goes to that OLine. It just adds another headache for opposing coaches to game plan. Do I load up and stop the run, or do I play a dime defense to counter their spread passing game? I think Mitchell’s game will also takeoff now that he made his commitment to Vanderbilt.

Totally Agree…. PITT may have the Best O-Line in Nor Cal, a QB that is a playmaker and tons of speed and talent at the skill positions…..I don't know, you said the same about SM vs DLS. What I saw watching the DLS vs SM game is that DLS is definitely very good at the run, so they will have success on the ground game. I think they definitely put up points. However, I think SM exposed some weaknesses on DLS defense. They were able to have a lot of success passing. Granted I know the SM WR's are elite, but the QB is pretty new and still figuring things yet still had a big game. I think with the more seasoned Qb at Pitt, they could score with DLS. Would be a close game and I can see DLS eeking out a win but also wouldn't be surprised with a single digit Pitt upset.
Totally agree with you!…. Rocklin’s passing game is just fine…. And according to Moist it’s right on par with Folsom…. 🤣No “her” here lol. As I stated before. Rocklin CAN throw the ball. They are a play action shot team. Every team in sac is going to struggle throwing against the sac all star team.

I don’t know about the availability of Lawson or the others. I understand SHC also had some of its key players out against Wilcox?@jordan24 do we know if Lawson and Nash and fully fit or their availability is still questionable? Also is 309 rushing yards by Jones last game vs Pitt a school record? What an incredible statistical number!
many of the games will likely be decided by the refs.Fortunately, all four games will be decided on the field, not on this message site. Thank goodness.
But hey, at least they aren't #2 Detroit or #1 Memphis....
