Folsom has aquirred the most transfers and recruits over the last ten years...

Sadly Folsom’s accomplishments over the past 10 years have now been diminished via recent vetting over the past 5 years vs teams with comparable talent levels.

Folsom’s average opponent rating since 2010 is about #1705 + in the country which means about 1700 other schools which include 500+ public schools could have roll up similar stats, and had similar parade’s.

Probably the biggest fail was last week losing 7-40. Although some may argue that losing to Something Something Trail was worse. Rocklin high is the better known and respected program from Sac area.

Building on this statement I went back and forth with a Sacbee guy on Twitter 2 years ago, not about a judgment but rather a statement of fact about football transfers to Folsom. That year they had 13 via the transfer portal for football.

The article was basically a pro Folsom in defense of rumors about transfers, hastily dispelling them as nonsense. After a week of fact checking, the reporter finally acknowledged that not only are they loaded with transfers, next closest SFL school in numbers had but 1, and the pathology is heavily favored at skill positions. I mention this because whether or not you agree or disagree with transfers, a tired topic, it matters in the record books much like Bonds and Maguire. At least by way of comparison to most land locked publics in the SFL.

One more thing from me on Folsom. The majority of the kids are home grown, excellent staff and great student body and rooting section. They gave everything they had on the field this last friday but came up short. These artificial dominance topics, fear of losing a game, ratings etc are all bullshit. Players and coaches that get after it on Friday nights are there to measure, grow, compete, learn and embrace brotherhood, that's it man, the stats are for us fans.

Not disputing what you’re saying here, but curious how many were actual transfers after their freshman year versus enrolling as freshman after attending JR high outside of the Folsom-Cordova school district?

I ask because the latter aren’t considered transfers.

In terms of high profile names I know that Ariel Ngata transfered in but his younger brothers Joe and Daniyel both enrolled as freshman. I believe Kaiden Bennett did too, but I’m not 100% certain.

I do know that Elijhah Badger transferred over from Sheldon High.

Short answer I dont know, I provided the excel link to Joe D so he could follow up on his source. I didn't include the younger Ngata's in my pivot, that I'm sure. My information came directly from the portal and Joe emailed me back with confirmation after that. You do make a good point, but these were purely varsity football transfers exported.

The SacBee confirmed another I’d not known about. A Rocklin kid too, that slipped under my radar.

According to the Bee:

Eklund was the first area player to commit to a Division l school., to San Jose State in June after receiving offers from a handful of Big Sky Conference programs. Eklund was the first player in the 2022 class that Sac State offered. The 6-foot-3, 220 pound outside linebacker missed his sophomore season due to a hand injury. During that time, Eklund transferred from Rocklin to Folsom. He ranks first on Folsom in sacks (four) and tackles for loss (six) through the first seven games

Does anyone like myself like to go back and read Patsy’s comments on say pages 1,2 and 3 then just laugh. In all my years on NCP and quiet for the last several, this just might be some of the most comical stuff ever.

Pasty Face; you really don't understand California hs football. Centennial Corona has been the best public school in California the past 10+ years and would have beat Folsom by 25-35 points had they matched up.
BS- Folsom is the best public in the state over the last decade. Folsom actually gets on a bus and travels too!

Actually this is not true. Apart from maybe 2 out of the last 10 years- Oak Ridge and Del Oro actually led the SFL in transfers. That's a hot little take that no one ever wants to talk about.

Rocklin just got its FIRST ever win against Folsom. EVER. Let that sink in. The 80 side schools simply need to do better. Folsom is killing them at the youth level and it's getting worse.

Yes true BUT a win ever IS a WIN. .....and as a certain poster^^^^^^in the past has treated a win or loss by their nemesis.....a win is tantamount to the 2nd Coming, a coronation of a new king of NorCal prep football.
What goes around Comes around.

Great win, I still have a shit eating grin on my face from how lucky the thunder was in dominating EVERY aspect of that game.

What truly supports them being the best public school. Please give us a reason why based on the below that they are the best. In the last 10 years:

2011: Lost to Grant, Pleasant Grove, and Vacaville

So now what the last 9 would it be.

Smashed by De La Salle, and lost to a tied for first place Bellarmine teams. In a few season over time.

2016: Lost to Sac High and St Marys

2019: Monterey Trail beat them

2021: Rocklin beat the snot out of them.

So please explain how Folsom has been the best public school program in the last 10 years.

There you go...............!!
Back up your claim with proof, links, articles. When you go all Sgt Joe Friday ("just the facts m'am") is when your posts stand up and are worth reading rather than when you dress up in your Tammy Ta Ta's cheerleading outfit and do your white noise Blue & Red pom pom cheer leading act. This weekly 'pin the butt on the Bulldog's Donkey gets tiresome.

We always need to remember that Centennial Corona had earned the title of best public school fb team in the state for the last decade + due to their strength of schedule and the arear they play in. They never had to reach out to Folsom to schedule a game, it was always on Folsom to reach out to CC.

Just Like in 1998 when DLS traveled to 2 Time USA Today National Champion Mater Dei to prove DLS was as Good as The Record Win Streak They were on….

In 2001 DLS Traveled to #1 Long Beach Poly who just won Back to Back D1 Titles and put the National Record Winning Streak on the line….

Great Programs Prove Themselves against the Greatest SoCal Southern Section Programs and Travel Down There to Do So because they are not afraid to lose….

When Folsom had a Returning D1A Champion Team with 18 Returning Starters, Their answer was traveling down to Chaminade a 4 win team with 3 returning starters…. 🤣

Folsom is too scared to Travel To Cen10, They don’t have the Balls Like PITT Does… 🤣🤣
