I know we will discuss All-League Selections. I always think that conversation before the last game jinxed the health of players, but coaches are never in harms way.(lol)

What are your thoughts per your league....

MACY at Campo who went 15-0 last year, finishes this year with just one loss and poised to return to state again.

Cozart, Patterson, from WAC in SJS. Guided them to first 10-0 season. Just returned to the school after leaving for a college coaching job for a few years.

Looks to me as if he was down at the one yard line.

More like the one foot line, but yeah, you're right. Hard call to make live, though he did have a good angle on it.

Great play, but I agree he landed on the 1 and then slid into the end zone. Shouldn't be a TD in HS, but it's not what it should be but what the refs called it - TD.

Really do we want video review in high school. For 50 years on all levels of football that's a touchdown!!!
Congrats to Analy, great catch and throw.... good coverage but Petaluma kid too. That should make Petaluma a solid #4 in D3

That's what the originator wanted to hear. He definitely deserves recognition. Now if he is able to do this with his next few classes, I will definitely be impressed. They are fun to watch this year.

I am a true Homer, came out of retirement of postings to cheer Riordan's phenomena year to CCS and beyond. But still as humble as a True Crusader and would never nominate myself. Winner yes, humble of course....just a Crusader

This is HS football. Give that kid a TD! How in the world do you have man coverage on a hail mary play? Sorry Petaluma deserved to lose just by the coverage they were in. You aren't going to get beat underneath. Yikes. Totally meltdown.

I'll give the kid his TD. I just said he landed on the one and slid into the end zone. By rule it should have been down on the one, but the call was a TD and that's what they get. I'm not lobbying for instant replay in HS by any stretch. It is what the ref says it is. Just like a holding call, PI, called third strike, charging call, etc. Great play. Poor defense. What a great finish.

There is ZERO chance that anyone could watch the video and have a better angle than the official that made the call. The tip of the ball, on his chest, only needs to break the plane before his butt hits the turf. Looking from midfield, you can't begin to tell where that ball is.
