Yeah really a bad situation. From the Windsor coach it sounded like it was not only a cheap shot but one to the head. Lucky the kid wasn’t seriously hurt. Hope he’s ok for the next game because he happens to be one of the top kids in the area also. 🤬

Apparently the QB was the backup according to EB Times.
"Coach" Travis Raciti...where are you? Plenty of opportunity to offer a (meek) mea culpa, but it's like knocking a tooth out: once the golden hour is gone, it's gone forever.
In addition to that cheap hit on the backup QB, College Park players were ripping off the helmet of Windsor’s top player #1 Hayden Anderson every time he was tackled. Took Windsor HC to call a time out to alert refs to this before they called it. Apparently Windsor dad’s working the chain gain overheard coaches encouraging this behavior. Sad state of affairs for CP
Raciti obviously didn’t learn his lesson about sportsmanship from his suspension a couple of weeks ago. He let a long time JV coach go last season after winning a “JV league championship” that was great with the kids and taught sportsmanship.
Just because he played D1 football at SJ St. and had some looks in the NFL doesn’t mean he’s going to be a good leader. I remember seeing him get kicked out of a basketball game in HS for bad sportsmanship. The AD Keck needs to hold him accountable.

The Suspension for The 84-0 win over YV was complete Garbage….. College Park ran 23 plays on Offense the whole game and scored 10 TD’s…. The Other 2 TD’s were the Second Half KO returned for a TD and a 3rd String LB had a Pic 6…. How in the Heck is that “Bad Sportsmanship”?…. Every single player on the team played…. YV is just an Awful team that shouldn’t be playing Varsity FB….
The Best Part about this is YV’s Crybaby Head Coach (Rae Jackson) who Also Coaches Girls BB at YV…. In 2019 His YV team Beat Beheren Christian 97-13 in Girls BB…. At the End of the 3rd Quarter YV was up 77-7 and proceeded to hang another 20 on BC while trying to score 100 points…..
Was He Suspened for “Poor sportsmanship”?…. No, he is just a big Crybaby Hippocryte who can dish it out and beat up on a bunch of Girls but cant take it when his Boys FB team gets beat in similar fashion….
On Top of that The Superintendent DR. Clark Threatened all the CP Boosters, and FB Families that if anyone writes letters to the Schoolboard or if CP tried to Challenge the Suspension he would “End Their FB Season”…..
There was nothing for Raciti to learn there other then he was unfairly Suspended for building up the FB program he was hired to Coach…. He was not running up the Score the YV kids could just not even tackle anyone as evidenced by CP scoring on Every other play they ran….
The superintendent went way overboard here creating False Narrative about CP Football….
It’s Funny how When CP is the league Doormat losing to teams by 80 points and not complaining nobody cares, but since Raciti has built the program up to 111 players and League Champs in just 2 years now CP is some Big Problem… 🤣
I was at the Game…. There are 2 Sides to every story…. Windsors players and Coaches are far from innocent in all this….
The game was Chippy from the start and there was an offsetting Personal Foul Called in the 1st quarter….. The Windsor coach absolutely Exploded on the Refs and sure enough from that point on, every single PF penalty was called on CP and Windsor had 0 called on them even when they Happened right in front of the Refs….
And Since I am not in here to disparage kids I am not going to get into what I was told the Windsor Kids (Including the one you mentioned) were saying to the CP players who are mostly Minorities….
The Officials were just awful and Completely lost control of the game and were intimidated by The Windsor Coach Screaming at them all game, and they blatantly ignored Windsor players taunting the CP Players and the end result was that Heinous play at the end of game….
I mean Come on, The Windsor Coach runs out on to the field and stops the game screaming at the refs and no flag…. A CP Assistant Coach gets Flagged for just throwing up his hands up on the sideline over a Terrible Roughing the passer call…. (The CP Player was pushed into the Windsor QB by the Windsor Lineman right in front of the ref with 2 hands to the Back, should have been illegal block in the back on )…..
As far as that play at the end of the game goes, That CP Kid should be Expelled from The School in my opinion as that was the most dangerous play I have ever seen….
No matter what was said or done by the Windsor players throughout the game, that kind of Dangerous play has no place in the game of FB…..
FB is an emotional game and when it’s win or go home the stakes are the highest…. This game was a great example of the Officials getting steamrolled by a coach into calling a one sided game and losing control of the game that could have ended with a catastrophic result….
So what happened at this last game? Was it the Windsor side overreacting or were things taken out of context? I don't think there is much of a history between those 2 programs? Edit - OK you must have posted that as I was typing.
Spot on O22. Some V coaches simply do not like being upstaged by those around them, and that includes lower level coaches who the kids respect and play very hard for. Some are fine having kids "be another coach on the field" while others with less self esteem than their charges end up with sophomoric behavior (former Pro now at HS🤔.) The better ones teach kids respect, but with fierce competition until the whistle. It certainly doesn't mean goading them to commit PFs when a game plan/preparation was deficient.
The College Park players were reportedly trying to rip the helmets off of the Windsor players. That may be why the coach went to the refs (alerting them) and why the calls started going against CP (refs started seeing it). The reactions from the Windsor players may have been from having their helmets yanked. That sort of thing probably wouldn't be very visible from the stands.
This Didn’t Happen…. No CP players were trying to yank off anyone’s helmet and no Coaches told them to do so…. If that was the Case I am sure it would have been in the Newspaper Article…. Also, if the Refs started seeing it as you suggest wouldn’t they have ejected any kid who tried to pull off another kid’s helmet out of the game?…. This is total BS spread by a Windsor parent to Mask Their players Bad Behavior and Their Coaches continual harassment of the Refs where amazingly not one penalty flag thrown on him…..
It’s Also Funny that The Windsor Coach Claims there was a Police Escort to lead them off the field…. There was no such Police Escort, the police there were the same ones there all game…. The Windsor players and Coaches walked right by the CP players, Coaches and Families that were on the field taking pictures, etc with no issues whatsoever….
Where that Police Escort could have been used was when several of the Windsor Kids were harassing the CP kids as they were trying to get on the Bus to leave…. Those poor little Windsor kids certainly didn’t seem in need of any Police Escort at that point…. Funny how the Windsor Coach doesn’t mention this in the article…… 🤣
Had that CP kid not done that hideous and dangerous play, this game would have been nothing but a footnote….
It was a Total Shitshow, Everyone involved should be embarrassed but in the end it is all rightfully on CP because Their Kid made the Dangerous and unacceptable play…. the CP kid who hit that QB should be Expelled…. End of Story
Dude, I don’t know what game you were at, but you clearly have your head in the clouds. They were ripping off #1’s helmet and the refs (after being told it was happening) threw flags on it. Don’t try and create a scene that was balanced on bad behavior. CP came off the buss cussing at Windsor players, I witnessed it. You clearly have your head in the clouds. YESl, Windsor PD, a contract city for the Sonoma county Sheriff, had to call in help to prevent problems and YES the cops ecorted the Windsor team, parents and coaches off the filed. Don’t listen to this guy about it didn’t happen……
You are are wrong…. You said you heard the CP players and Coaches on the sidelines telling the CP kids to rip the kids helmet off…. That is total BS.. The kids helmet fell off 1 time and your coach went Apeshit… no one was pulling off helmets, if it happened your coach would have said so in the newspaper…. And if a Ref saw a Kid pull a Kids Helmet off the Kid would be ejected from the game….
There was no police escort, I was down on the field…. There were no extra police there that weren’t there before and during the game…. I was there when the Windsor kids were harassing the CP Kids getting on the Bus…..

Your Coach even said in the paper “It Was a Well Played Game until the end when it got out of hand”….. Review of the game film showed that the Ref’s missed several PF penalties that should have been Called in Windsor and others that should not have been called on CP….

Actually, I am not going to Argue about this…. I am a CP Booster and very close to the program so this is emotional for me….
The Reality it that if our player did not make that hideous play at the end of the game, this would have been nothing more then a Physical and Chippy playoff game between 2 very physical teams where the Better team won and no one would be talking about it….
But that is not the The Reality…. This game is a big Black eye for CP because the of that last play of the game so whatever Windsor fans players or Coaches want to say we deserve it…. And I Sincerely Apologize to all the Windsor players, Coaches and Fans for the way everything played out and especially the Kid and his family who was injured on that last hideous play….
This is not what these CP kids are about…. They are a awesome bunch of kids who are super close and have worked their Butts off to turn the program around and Coach Raciti is an Awesome Coach…
It just Breaks my heart that they have been labeled as “Dirty” and all the negative press they have… Even the Kid who Made the Awful play at the end of the game…. He is a great kid from a Great CP family and they are all just devastated by what he did and what happened….
So I will step out on this…. Congrats on the well earned win!… You guys were probably the Best Team we played all year and I will be pulling for you to win the Section and have a Great Postseason!!…. 🍻
An update on the College Park coaching situation. Coach Raciti has resigned (now an assistant at Deer Valley) and Casey Moreno has taken over the program. Moreno has previously been the head coach at both Hayward & Dublin.

To me the disappointing thing is that he had a ton of support from the program and the kids and it just feels like he bailed on them…. But what can you do?…. Maybe it’s for the best….
Really excited to meet the new Coach though and the kids are excited as well!… I saw and talked to several players the other day and they just can’t wait to get to work!…. Will be a challenging season for CP because we are moving up in the league with Campo and Acalanes but the kids are all excited for the challenge!… 🍻
While I don’t know Casey, I’ve met him a couple of times and he seems like a good guy. The people I know that know him speak highly of him. He did a good job at Hayward. I’m not sure why he stopped coaching football at Dublin, but he’s been a basketball coach at the lower levels at Dublin for the past few years. Hopefully he can keep the ball rolling at CP and compete well in the new division with Campo & Acalanes.
