Irish will be good this season. They return a lot of players from last season and I expect to see some Sophomores brought up to the varsity from their Freshman WCAL championship team last year that went 14-1-1.

Irish beat Washington (SF) 3-0 to start the season at 1-0.
On the frosh level, both Valley Christian and Riordan will not have a team.

Irish beat Lowell 3-1. SHC is 5-1 going into league play. Next game is on January 3rd vs. Riordan at Beach Chalet #1 at 3:15pm.

Bells and Mitty each played a tie game. SI and Serra won as expected. I'm sure now that SHC is ranked too low. They tied two top programs in Bellarmine and Mitty.

SI is currently in first place, followed by SHC, Bellarmine, Mitty, Serra, St. Francis, VC and Riordan.

Irish soccer beat Serra 3-1. SHC is in second place at 3-0-2 in the WCAL and 8-1-2 overall. SI plays Riordan on Thursday.

Irish play Riordan on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Beach Chalet #3. Game starts at 1:00pm.

Riordan is 0-41. Both Riordan and Valley Christian have no frosh teams this season. I can only imagine the outcry if this were football.
